Enabled stream-proof but boxes still showed on a private OBS recording. Game capture vs display capture?

Small community stream, not trying to advertise — just don't want overlays on VOD.

Toggle stream-proof before opening OBS. Prefer game capture.

Record 30s private, scrub frame by frame. Menu + ESP should be gone on capture.

Stream-proof hides overlays from capture paths — doesn't make rage gameplay invisible to viewers who know Rust.

Play conservative even if capture looks clean.
